Gentlemen Prefer Redheads

Considering these past couple of weeks, I would have to start with some heartfelt apologies. My own apologies to you for the scarce number of posts and for the lack in feedback. And although I feel incredibly guilty, I do believe that I might just get a free pass this time. Not only because I'm recovering from an vicious cold, but because I'm about to show you what kept me so busy.

The stylish, very creative, and extremely sweet Isabela, the designer behind the LaChatterie label has just launched her new website. And how better to do that than with a new 'mini collection'? I think you can already imagine my excitement when she suggested that we collaborate again (I think you can remember our Lolita themed photoshoot from this summer) and for me to be her 50s inspired model. Moreover, working with the wonderfully talented photographer Catalin Margescu was, again, such a treat.

Without prolonging the introduction I leave you with the first of a series of four outfits, so get ready for more :) Ah, and one last thing before I log out. Since Isabela's inspiration for this collection came from Hitchcock’s movies, and especially his female characters, it is only natural that I end this post with a Grace Kelly quote:

A woman never goes anywhere but the hospital without packing makeup, clothes, and jewelry.
Grace Kelly as Lisa in Rear Window

Clothes & styling: Lachatterie

Photos by Catalin Margescu

Location: British Gallery
