Lanvin ♥ H&M - I ♥ Lanvin

Some things are inevitable. Forget to pack something for a trip. Need a new going out dress although I have plenty. Buy the last dress in my size from the Lanvin for H&M capsule collection.

I know there has been a lot of hype around this collaboration with a substantial number of people queuing outside the stores overnight and items selling out in mere minutes. Even so, I must say that this has not been necessarily one of my favorite designer collaborations. Thus I was not overly exited to discover that the Lanvin section in one H&M still had a few dresses, yet I thought it couldn’t hurt to try one on. And once I did I knew I wasn’t going home without it.

It’s the boldness of the color, the femininity of the frills, and the beauty of the embellishments that made this bright red dress irresistible. It’s stylish enough to be adequate for a cocktail, but also oh-so-flirty for a party that lasts long in the night; just the perfect thing for the season when what you need most is some new partywear.

And partywear does seem to be the word of the month. With luxurious fabrics and intricate embellishments there’s really something for everyone. Even if you don’t have time to do some actual shopping, all one has to do is go online. From designer online shops to vintage, or even discounted designer ones I could spend all day online.
